Grantmaker Forum 2010

HCMC Grantmakers Forum
Thursday, 21 October 2010, from 8am to 4pm
The Palace Hotel, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
To Promote Meaningful Dialogue Among HCMC Grantmakers
The forum for grantmakers was designed as an opportunity for grantmakers to impart knowledge, share experiences, identify common goals and possible synergies while building a better understanding about the community in which they operate. The goal of the forum was to improve the quality of life in our community by making us all more informed and effective grantmakers.
We welcomed representatives from organizations engaged in community philanthropy, including CEOs, Board Members and staff of local and international foundations; grantmaking charities; corporate funders (foundations and/or giving programs); and government aid agencies. We also welcomed representatives of giving circles, donor advised funds and those engaged in philanthropy as consultants, legal counsel, or at banks.
