Binh Loi seeks to provide children living in especially difficult circumstances with opportunities to gain literacy, to acquire job skills, as well as access to health care, counseling and mental support. Established in 1990, Binh Loi became and official member of the HCMC Association for the Protection of Disabled People and Orphaned Children in 2002. There are just 3 staff at Binh Loi and 3 volunteers. Current services include: literacy education; vocational orientation; healthy lunches; visits to health clinics; IEC on healthy habits and lifestyles; life-skills trianing; sports and recreation activities; English and Computer classes.
