EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Giang has both private sector and nonprofit sector experience. Before joining LIN, she worked for nearly eight years with an international non-government, not-for-profit organization supporting education for children with disadvantaged backgrounds in Vietnam, most recently as their Head of Programs. During her last eight years, she realized it was her calling to work in the development sector, which stole her heart and captured her full passion, energy, and commitment.

She joined LIN in August 2015 as the first full-time Executive Director. Before then, she had followed LIN's activities since the very first days and was attracted by the mission and vision that LIN is pursuing. Giang has a strong desire in supporting the capacity building for local NGO workers and the development of local nonprofit organizations, as well as assisting corporate and individual donors, and volunteers to do effective philanthropic work. She believes in what LIN believes: "Helping local people meet local needs".

FOUNDER AND STRATEGIC ADVISOR / PRO BONO

As strategic advisor at LIN, Dana is responsible for setting the course for the organization, which includes strategic planning, capacity building and relationship building. Prior to setting up LIN, Dana worked with NPOs in Latin America (U.S. Peace Corps), the U.S. (Metro Chicago Information Center) and Vietnam (U.S.-Vietnam Trade Council & Education Forum) focusing on international relations, community economic development and public policy.

Dana has a B.A. from Northwestern University, a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and a Certificate in Grantmaking and Foundations from NYU's School for Continuing and Professional Studies.

DEPUTY DIRECTOR & NPO SERVICES CO-ORDINATOR

Pham Truong Son is responsible for maintaining relationships with local NPOs and managing LIN's activities and programs. Son is a skilled communicator and community organizer with over 10 year experience working with youth, children and vulnerable populations in Vietnam with a specialization in HIV/AIDS issues. Son studied English at Social Science and Humanity University and graduated in Program Management at the Asia Institute for Management in the Philippines.

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc is Director of Programs at LIN Center for Community Development. She has diverse experience in journalism, volunteer management and nonprofit capacity building. Truc joined LIN since 2010, being inspired by its mission to help local people meet local needs.

At LIN, she initiated and coordinated programs that bring professionals and nonprofit staff together to build OD skills for the nonprofits and leverage corporate community engagement. She earned an MSc in Organizational Development and Change in Ireland in 2015 and is currently administering LIN's various programs to support community philanthropy in Vietnam.

FINANCE MANAGER

Thao has joined the team from September 2017 as the Finance Manager. In this role she leads all financial matters, including accounting and reporting, cash management and forecasting, and internal audit. Prior to come with Lin, She had nearly 10 years of financial management experience within NPO sector. Working as a finance lecturer early in 2010 gave her a chance to deepen her abilities of presentation and analysis as well.

Thao earned her Master Degree in Finance and Accounting from Banking University of HCMC. Others describe her as professional, sensitive to the needs of others, a positive thinker and detail-oriented.

GRANT COORDINATOR, NARROW THE GAP PROGRAM

Yen Phuc was a founding member of Action for Wildlife Organization (AWO), a nonprofit partner of LIN since 2009. Phuc has been a supporter and friend to LIN in many ways and most recently led the volunteer team to organize the very successful Narrow the Gap Community Day "My Village, My Vision 20 years from now". We are excited to welcome Phuc as our Grants Coordinator and we are fortunate to have someone with so much energy, enthusiasm and skills to the team.
