About LIN
The LIN Center for Community Development serves grassroots not-for-profit organizations and individual and corporate philanthropists located in and around Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. In addition to providing direct support to local not-for-profit organizations, LIN also serves as a vehicle through which donors can effectively contribute their knowledge, energy and resources to support these NPOs. In our effort to help local people to meet local needs, LIN aims to advance a more efficient and responsive philanthropic environment and strengthen the communities in which we live and work.

Within this website, you will better understand how LIN operates and find ways that you can support community development. If you are a not-for-profit organization, you will find opportunities to build staff capacity, apply for grants and recruit skilled volunteers. If you are a philanthropist, you will find opportunities to support a local not-for-profit, either by volunteering your time, by making a donation and/or by recommending a not-for-profit organization to participate in our programs.
The Vietnamese economy has been growing at a rapid pace; however, not all segments of the population are reaping the benefits of this growth and development. LIN Center for Community Development facilitates coordination between the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors in an effort to promote equal access to opportunities and improve the quality of life in our community. By providing access to opportunities, we hope to improve the ability of struggling or underprivileged groups to adapt and develop in a changing socioeconomic environment meanwhile fostering meaningful volunteer and donor opportunities among all people in Vietnam.
